NUGGETS 50th Anniversary 5 LP BOX SET. "Artifacts from the First Psychedelic Era 2023 RSD". Record Store Day 2023, "RSD Exclusive" release, quantity 6,000. 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking and influential compilation of the first generation of psychedelic artists curated by Lenny Kaye.

This box set includes the original 2-LP set, the planned but unreleased Vol. 2, and a single LP of songs that were considered for the original set (Also Dug-Its), but didn't make the final cut. Like the original, this set is curated by Lenny Kaye with the full involvement of Jac Holzman - the original pioneers of Nuggets.

Housed in slipcase with barcode on bottom, LPs 1/2 and 3/4 each housed in gatefold jacket with barcode. LP 5 housed in disco sleeve. Includes a 16-page booklet and foldout double-sided album artwork poster. Mastered at Bernie Grundman Mastering. 1 cut from the original 1972 Elektra master reels.
